National Pizza Month in Murray, Kentucky
The Murray Convention and Visitors Bureau has done social media campaigns on our Snapchat and Instagram Stories (@MurrayKentucky) talking about various national holidays. We have discussed National Donut Day, Cinco De Mayo and National Coffee Day. We wanted to step up our game and celebrate National Pizza Month! Throughout the month of October, the Murray CVB is going to encourage you to try out a different pizza joint every week to enjoy during National Pizza Month.
Matt B's Main Street Pizza

Fondly referred to simply as Matt B's, this popular lunch and dinner destination has been open in Murray since 1997. They sell pizza by the slice, delicious salads, whole pizzas, life-changing dessert pizzas and their beloved breadsticks with honey butter. Every day there are two specialty pizzas made locals plan their Matt B's meal around the specialty pizza because they love the combos so much. Full list of specialty pizzas can be found here. Mugsy's Hideout

After vacationing to Western Kentucky from the inner city of Chicago, owners Jay and Maria fell in love with Murray and decided to pursue their dream of owning and operating their own business. Mugsy's began filling Murray's downtown with delicious Chicago-style pizza in 2006 and its never been the same since. Go ahead and get the 12" deep dish and take some friends. No better combo than pizza and friendship! You can stop by their location 410 Main St. Tuesday-Saturday for lunch and dinner and be transported to Chicago during your experience.

Previously only a late-night destination, Tap 216 is now available at lunch as well. They have eight signature pizzas or a build your own option. For lunch, you can order a single slice and a side salad for only $6! Tap 216 is known for their craft beer selection which pairs perfectly with pizza. You can enjoy lunch or dinner on their patio overlooking the quad at Murray State at 216 N. 15th St.
Mister B's
Mister B's is newest to town, but they are making their presence known. You can enjoy thin, or pan style pizza for lunch and dinner every day. Mister B's is perfect to grab and watch a game with TV's spanning the entire restaurant. They opened their first location in Henderson, Kentucky, 20 years ago. The location in Murray is the third and we are happy to have them! They offer amazing lunch special options, carry out and delivery. Visit their location at 807 Walmart Dr. to try it out for yourself!
