Calloway County Fire Rescue is holding our 2024 Spring Recruit Camp March 1st-3rd, 2024 at Station 1.

Friday night starts at 6:00pm and will be all classroom & department paperwork lasting 3-4 hours.

Saturday/Sunday training starts at 8:00am and will run until around 5:00pm being all hands-on training on basic safety & firefighting.

This weekend will give all new recruits their basic 20hr of firefighter training that is needed for you to be able to respond to emergency calls. You have to be present all three days (unless otherwise approved by the Chief)! Stop by Station 1 at 101 E. Sycamore Street in Murray for an application or click the “Sign Up” link on our Facebook page to fill out an online form & we will give you a call. All applications need to be submitted soon as the recruit weekend is coming up fast & need to get things in order.

Also feel free to come by Station 1 on Tuesday 2/13 or Tuesday 2/27 for our department business meeting, which is open to the public every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, starting at 6:00pm & introduce yourself & check out our department.
