A one day workshop with some history of the making and sourcing of color pigments through the ages to today. show some great colorists, artists, expose them to some great color theorists like Goethe/Albers.

Beginner basic color theory---primary to tertiary palette building at the beginning then learning complimentary colors: what's a tint? what is value in color? Brainstorming: chroma vs value/how to make colors appear neutral, bright, cool, warm. (colors in shadow and light and ) how colors appear relative to one another, the effects of color.
