During Homecoming weekend 2021, you have the opportunity to join the fun by participating in one or both of the following Murray State Esports tournaments! The Rocket League tournament begins Friday, Oct. 22 at 6:30 p.m. Then the Overwatch tournament begins Sunday, Oct. 24 at 1 p.m. 

Rocket League tournament IS cross-platform. Participants will be randomly placed on teams of three (mixing alumni and students). Seeding will also be random. The team that scores the most goals in 5 minutes wins. The tournament will be single elimination (you lose one game, your team is out). The tournament will be hosted Homecoming weekend. Times will be determined closer to the date.

Overwatch tournament is cross platform. Participants will be randomly assigned an opponent and seeding in the tournament. Standard Mystery 1v1 game mode settings will be applied. The tournament will be single elimination (lose one game you are out). 

The Murray State Esports Organization allows students to participate in collegiate esports events and casual gaming events on campus. While competitive gaming is a part of the organization, Murray State Esports offers students on campus an opportunity to connect, participate in charity tournaments and enjoy professional esports watch parties!  Current competitive games are Overwatch, League of Legends, Rocket League, CS:GO, Rainbow 6:Siege and Valorant.
