The Long Walk of Carlos Guerrero with Cinema International

Carlos, a chef in New York City, returns to Mexico to visit his sick mother and must then cross the Sonoran desert to reunite with his wife and daughter. This fictional story of survival draws on real-life stories from the director’s 2006 documentary Crossing Arizona, and features a real-life Native American immigration activist in a supporting role.

In Spanish and English with subtitles. NR, 107 minutes

Cinema International hosts post-film discussions after every screening. Admission is free. Screenings begin at 7:30 P.M. in Faculty Hall 208.
