A celebration of the life and achievements of Murray, KY native and MSU grad, Peter F. O’Rourke III, which will include a Skateboard Contest, Concert and Fundraiser for Neartown Recovery on October 17th in Murray-Calloway County’s Central Park. The skateboard contest will be from 1-4pm at the Murray Lion’s Club SkatePark in Central Park with DJ Steven Spadafino. The concert will be at the amphitheater and will include performances by WiiRMZ (Louisville), Mammoth String Band (Paducah, KY) and David Pollack (NYC/Portland). There will be prizes and gift bags for the contestants, a raffle and food vendors (Tap 216 and Butts and Racks) at the event!
