The most popular spot for “Ladies who Lunch” is Dumplins’. Homemade casseroles, quiches and soups are just the beginning of what makes Dumplins’ the hot lunch spot in town. They are known for massive homemade rolls and served with fluffy honey butter. Second to the rolls, Dumplins’ is famous for the decadent desserts, made fresh every day. An entire case fills one wall of the restaurant with over fifteen different varieties of pies, cakes, cheesecake and dessert bars, daily.
Walk off that roll from Dumplins’ by shopping next door at The Place. This boutique has been a landmark boutique in the MKY for many years.
Before dinner, be sure and stop at Plantation Place. Fine gifts, embroidery and jewelry can be found in this distinctive store.Look for the Murray and Kentucky themed corner of the store for awesome take home gifts! End the evening on a high note by dining at Jasmine Thai & Sushi. Order the crab rangoons or lettuce wraps for appetizers –they are delicious! Don’t forget to grab a side of salted edamame –eating just one isn’t an option.A wide variety of fresh sushi is prepared to order, along with other Asian dishes made of rice and noodles.
