Baking Bread at the Homeplace 1850s Farm

  • The Homeplace 1850s Working Farm 4512 The Trace Dover, TN, 37058 United States (map)

This Sunday at the Homeplace, they are firing up the wood stove and baking some bread.

In the 1850s, farmers didn’t knead to roll out to the store and shell out all their dough for fresh bread. The upper-crust might have, but we know how to bake it ourselves! Do not make us rye by missing this one, we will be baking grain or shine!
