Join us for the grand opening of Murray State's Centennial Exhibit at Wrather Museum this Thursday with a reception beginning at 4 p.m. and a short program featuring Dr. Melvin Henley ('61, '64, '90) at 5 p.m.
For more than a year, University Libraries faculty and staff have been working to curate this incredible trip through the last 100 years of Murray State using interactive exhibits, photographs, artifacts and other assorted memorabilia and surprises.
Dr. Henley attended elementary and secondary school at the Murray Training School before earning multiple degrees from Murray State. He has served as Chair of the University's Chemistry Department, Faculty Regent on the University Board of Regents, Mayor of Murray and as a Kentucky State Representative. He will speak on his incredibly vast perspective of Murray State over many years.
The event is free and open to the public. #MurrayState100
