This documentary illuminates the advent of the Americans with Disabilities Act (1990), and its roots in a utopian summer camp. Camp Jened, a summer camp for people with disabilities which ran in upstate New York on its original site from 1951-1977, modeled new forms of activism and disability rights advocacy. The film features former Jened campers and counselors, including Judith Heumann, one of the architects of the ADA.
