  • Curris Center 110 Curris Ctr Murray, Kentucky 42071 United States (map)

In honor of Women’s History Month, we are partnering with WKMS to host a free viewing of “Becoming bell hooks” on Sunday, March 24th!

This brand-new KET documentary features readings by Academy Award-winner Octavia Spencer as well as interviews with feminist activist Gloria Steinem, Kentucky writers Crystal Wilkinson and Silas House, bell’s younger sister, Gwenda Motley and many others.

Afterwards, stay for a talk with a group of panelists on Hopkinsville’s own literary legend!

Admission is free, however we will be accepting donations for the Merryman House. Requested items include tampons, shampoo and conditioner, textured hair products, bodywash and loofahs.
