In this class you will learn the basics of working with clay through learning to throw on the pottery wheel. Objects covered include cups, vases, bowls, and plates. Students will also learn how to turn their thrown objects into finished pieces by learning trimming techniques, how to attach handles and how to apply glaze. All levels welcome.
Bring an old towel. Fee includes 1 1/2 bag of clay—you can purchase more if needed. Fee also includes outside studio time during MAG business hours & open studios with Anne on Saturdays from 12:30-2pm.
