Give yourself permission to relax, restore, and renew with this Yoga+Nidra class. This class will begin with some gentle/restorative yoga stretches that are accessible to everyone (15-30 min) followed by a type of guided meditation called Yoga Nidra (30-45 min).
Yoga Nidra is also known as Yogic sleep or lucid sleeping, in which one enters deep, restful brainwave states, while maintaining awareness. In our fast paced world of multitasking, juggling all of our responsibilities and challenges, we are in desperate need for stillness, relaxation, and time for ourselves. The practice of Yoga Nidra has been clinically proven to reduce tension, anxiety, PTSD, and chronic pain, as well as many other physical, mental, and spiritual benefits.
Mats/props are available onsite or bring your own items to find comfort in this hour long class.
